Bear
It takes time to earn his trust, but once you do, Bear's love is worth it! Bear is a handsome middle age, male malamute, but he is a little shy with new people.

What made him so shy? It's hard to know exactly, but Bear came to Moonsong as a part of the “Eight Above” rescue operation.  For several years he was kept chained to a tree, high in the mountains without adequate care.  The dog next to him did not like Bear, and kept him in his dog house by barking at him.

Bear is ready to learn about the world; to take long walks, run and play like all dogs should.  Most importantly this young-at-heart malamute is ready to make a human friend he can really bond with and hold onto for life.  Bear is in perfect health, and gets along well with mellow dogs.  He would like to live with adults or children over 13 since he is a little bashful.

Bear has many wonderful years to share with a family!  Do you have the love and patience to give Bear a place called home?
