Honey

Update: 9/16/10 - Honey had been having failing health and her loving humom, Kristina H. decided to let this sweet girl go. RIP, Honey.

Honey was found chained to a tree in the mountains with out water or adequate shelter.  She came to Moonsong as a part of the “Eight Above” rescue operation.  For an older gal, she still has lots of spring in her step and enjoys walks on leash.

Honey is a shy dog when you first meet her. But try some treats and attention as lures, and soon, she'll be your demure friend. She has a friendly heart.

Honey gets along fine with her male dog "roommate", Bear, so she should do just fine with other similar dogs. She's a little too bashful to be a playmate for children, so she's probably looking for an adult home, or one with children over 13.

Could you find a place in your heart for a sensitive lady dog who's spent her whole life looking for a friend?
