Hi, I'm Isis! I am a 1 & 1/2 year old pure bred Alaskan Malamute that is looking for a new home. I am very loving and still have a lot of puppy in me! I have had some obedience training, but could use some more, as I'm rather head strong. I am learning basic commands with clicker training and am getting pretty good at walking nicely with my Easy Walk harness. I still love to give you my mal-a-talk and let you know just what I think! I have had my tail pulled by small children and would do better in a home with older kids that wouldn't bother me that way. I am very fixated on the squirrels in the back yard of my foster home, so I probably would do best in a home without cats or other small animals. I trot next to a bike with a "springer" every morning and even have my own paw tennies, since I'm kind of a tenderfoot at this. I love to play, chase balls, and take long hikes in the mountains. I recently just learned how to swim! (check out my lastest video to the left) I also am good at chilling out and taking a rest from all that activity. I would love a rough and tumble playmate in my new home! I just love to play with fellow rescue dog, Mookie - check out our video. Mookie and I would be very happy in a home together if you have the room and time for 2 high energy furkids! I am learning how to get along with the older Malamutes in my foster home. I will need regular exercise or I'll get bored and wound up. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on innoculations and crate and house trained. If you're looking for a fun girl friend, then you've come to the right spot!
