Hiya! My name is Mika but sometimes my silly foster mom calls me Meeka-Peeka-Poo. I am a big, beautiful girl with lots of energy and lots of love to give some lucky human. I’ve never had a person of my very own to love and that has made me a little insecure. Sometimes my slight insecurity makes me try too hard to get your attention, any kind of attention, so I think people tend to pass me over without giving me a chance. Please let me prove to you how sweet and loveable I am. All I really want is just to be petted, played with and to be taken for walks with you. Although I am on the big side, I really am a house dog and won’t be happy being kept outside all the time because, guess what? I want to be with you!!! I am housebroken and will lie down quietly inside playing with my toys after the brief, initial excitement of being allowed inside wears off. My ideal person would be patient, affectionate (of course) and have a firm, consistent but gentle hand in order to continue showing me how to behave like the good girl I know I can be. I just want to please you after all! I would do best in a home with no children or older children since I forget how big I am and I can be a little wild when I get a chance to play. I am a little exercise dependent too and need regular workouts to sluff off excess energy. I also would like to meet any dogs that already live with you, to make sure we will get along and I really would do best as an only dog or with a very mellow male companion.
