Shade is a handsome, young, shy Malamute mix. He is about a year and a half old and has a whole lifetime of love to give. His owner is having health problems and can't give him the attention and exercise he needs. He has been somewhat abused by a previous male adopter, so will need some special work and patience to gain trust. He would probably feel more comfortable around women. He has had some obedience training and has had professional grooming. Shade walks well on leash and would enjoy regular walks and plenty of exercise. He is crate and house trained and rides well in a car. Shade will be neutered before being placed. He would do best in a home with a friendly dog and NO cats.
