Hi, I am Kiana (Ki Ki), an 8 year old female wolf-gray and white Alaskan Malamute with pretty biscuit trimmings. My former owners adopted me from a local Humane Society, but had to move to a military base where I was not allowed to go. So, I have lost my home for the second time in my life, and am quite sad about it. Our MMR Foster Mom says I need to move out soon, or she will be too attached to let me go. I have been living with her household pack of 5 other dogs for nearly a year now. I am excellent with people, fine with children over age 8, and compatible with other large dogs (with introductions) of either sex. I am also spayed, bullet proof housebroken, current on inoculations, and micro chipped. I am a loving, sweet, mellow companion dog who likes belly rubs, car rides, and walks. I would love a home all my own, are you looking for a sweetheart of a Malamute like me for a friend?

Hello there, I'm Stony. I am a seal and white AKC registered male Malamute, 6 years old. I am obedience trained and walk well on a leash with my easy walk harness. I have also done skijoring and have learned to trot next to a bike on a "springer". I'm a medium energy boy who just loves to be with my humans. I do well with non aggressive female Malamutes, but am not good with cats or other small animals. I have found a couple Mal girlfriends that I like to play with and would enjoy a home with another playful dog but I would be fine as an only dog. I am good with children ages 8 and up and love people and affection. My humans call me the "love sponge". I am housebroken, neutered, current on inoculations, and micro chipped. Hi! I’m Cheyenne, but my foster mom also calls me Shy-Shy because I was so shy in the beginning. I came from a place that had a lot of dogs, so I didn’t get a lot of individual attention. Well, I’m really starting to come around for those who have been following my progress! I’m still great with the cats I live with and I really need to find a home that has another playful dog because I have SO MUCH ENGERY! I’m kind of like the energizer bunny! I also need a VERY active home that will take me out on daily runs and take me out into the mountains. My foster mom tells me I’m a great “skijoring buddy”. I think this is because I just like to pull.
I’m still very cautious with new people, and I like to introduce myself on my own terms. When I feel comfortable enough, I’ll come up for attention. I’m 3 years old and weigh about 65lbs. I love soft squeaky toys and long walks in the mountains. I also get along well with kind children. I’m looking for someone that will give me a lot of attention and really work on my obedience.

Hi there, my name is Smokie. I am a mostly Malamute--with a little bit of something else (maybe German Shepherd?). I am seeking a new family to love. My human Daddy was tragically killed in an accident a few years ago. A nice rescue took me in and has been looking after me, but I really need a family that is just my own. I am beautiful, with a lovely tri-colored coat, and have more energy than many dogs half my age. I love toys and running and playing, and will throw and catch my own balls. If you ask, I will even throw toys to you to throw back! I like to go with you everywhere, walk nice on a leash, and do a great trick where I can stand on my hind legs and beg all at the same time, so not bad for an old lady, eh?
I am very good with older children (ages 10 and up) and all adults. I am completely house trained, spayed, micro chipped, up to date on all my vaccinations, and am only destructive to balls and toys with squeakers in them. I REALLY love playing with toys, walks and treats, in that order. No kitty-cats please, they are enemies to be eliminated and are not safe around me! I would do best as an only pet. Please come by and meet me, I know if you do that you will fall in love with me. After all, what's not to like (other than the cat thing, I mean)? You get all the benefits of a puppy, but none of the work, and I need so much to be able to love a family of my very own once again. I eagerly await your call...

Hi, I am Mookie! I am about 1 year old and still growing. I appear to be a Siberian-Malamute mix, and am very high energy. I have a unique coat color, wolf gray guard hairs with strong sable tones throughout the undercoat. I am a handsome young fellow, and just a sweet, nice boy who has a lot of energy and needs an active home. I would do great with other dogs (preferably female or calm males are okay too) and kids ages 8 and up. No cats or small prey animals, please. I am still very puppy like in some ways, but I do know lots of obedience type stuff. I do have a mouthing issue, which MMR is trying to work with me on. I would greatly benefit from some one-on-one attention from a Mal experienced foster home. So, if you aren't ready to adopt, but want to help, inquire about making a difference in my life. I have been neutered, am current on inoculations, and micro-chipped. While it is true I am a busy fellow, I am very loving and want a home of my own where I can worship my humans with kisses. Hi, my name is Diesel! I am a handsome five year old pure bred Alaskan Malamute. I am a sweet, affectionate high energy boy seeking a home that will give me lots of exercise! I have experience going with my humans roller blading, biking with a springer, and hiking and packing on mountain trails. I would probably excel as a running partner and since I love to romp in the snow with the snowshoers, I've been thinking I'd also be great at skijoring! Some of my other favorite activities are to play ball, go for rides in the truck, and go swimming and camping. I know basic commands of sit, down, heel, wait and can even "speak". I'm still working on "come", but that's pretty typical for our independent breed. I am very smart and learn new things fast, especially if treats are my motivation! I am housebroken and have lived with other female dogs and cats. I do like to "mouth" the cats if they let me, so I would probably do best in a home without them. I'm not good around horses or other livestock. I do like to play with dogs that have my level of energy and exuberance. Even though I like kids, I'm probably a little too rough to be around young children. I have been neutered, am current on inoculations, and micro-chipped. While waiting for my spay appointment, Moonsong became aware that I am pregnant, so I won't be available until my puppies, who will also be looking for homes, won't need me any more. I didn't get the father's name, and they all look alike to me anyway, so I am not sure what my puppies will look like, but I am sure they will be cute. I love to pull kids around on a sled and go for longs walks or even go jogging! Hello, I'm Koda. I am a striking Malamute/German Shepherd Dog mix, about 4 years old. My partner and I were strays and when our owner didn't reclaim us some nice people saved us from being euthanized (not sure what that is, but it doesn't sound good). I am very sweet and loving towards people and great around small children. I am somewhat timid but do well around other dogs. I have been fine in the different foster homes I've had with other malamutes. I'm really more interested in people than other dogs. I am now in a foster home with cats and I don't have much interest in them. I have had some obedience training, am well mannered, housebroken and walk nicely on leash. I have even learned how to trot next to the bike on a device called a "springer". I like to take the occasional wade, especially when the weather heats up. I am spayed, housebroken and up-to-date on my innoculations and am looking for just the right family to love!

Nika had her puppies on June 13. As they get older and we get photos taken we will start posting individual information on them, so watch this spot for news! They will be available at 8 weeks of age, and will be placed on spay/neuter contracts because they are too young for surgery. You must provide proof in writing from your vet that the puppy has been altered by 6 months of age, or we will repossess the dog. Adoption fee on these cuties will be minimal, just enough to cover their shots and micro chips. We found out that Dad was Corgi, Lab, and St. Bernard, so who knows how much of the Malamute traits will prevail in this bunch of darlings, but they have the potential to be large dogs.
