This was a bikejor, scooter, canicross race that Maren (Arctic Breeds Rescue in Provo) promoted and it was sponsored by the Cache Valley Mushers. It was held on Quinn's Loops at Park City, Utah. Lots of beautiful Malamutes and Siberian Huskies and other breeds entered. There were rescue dogs entered and three from Moonsong - my Tasha, Chubbuck, Maren's Mal girl and Nanook, Pam's pretty female. Tasha and Chubbs were my team in the 2.14 mile bikejor and we came in 4th (only 5 entered). Pretty good considering that Tasha and I are total novices at this. Pam and her team of Nan and Belle passed us on the trail and came in third! It was really fun and a great way to exercise the northern breeds who usually love to pull anyway. More images can be seen here.
There are also some amazing shots that Todd Leeds took of all the participants. Check them out here.
