Lynn had raised enough $$ from yard sales to fund materials to expand the play/exercise yard for the rescue. We also got gravel to spread around the kennel area. Brian, Lynn and Katy worked on this for a number of days this July and August. We also had a generous donor offer to purchase the materials needed to install a privacy fence all the way around the kennels that will not only help with security but act as a weather break as well. Pics on that work project coming soon!

Looking good!

Lynn's brother Bruce helps Brian spread the gravel.

This gravel will be so nice in the winter when it's wet and/or frozen. It will be so much safer!

Lynn makes sure the post is level.

We installed 2 gates into the yard and one is adorned with the Mal Xing sign.

We got smart and borrowed a dump trailer, since we got about 3 loads of gravel for around the kennel area.

Yukon admires all our hard work!

Those dogs weren't much help!
